Thanks for your replies, Brittany and Albert.

For me, it's the finishing touches that can take an age. That's why I remind myself "Know when to stop". I keep well within deadlines, but I don't like to spend more time than is necessary on a project. I'm now quite harsh on myself when the extra effort wasn't worth my while.

You can't get to perfect, but you can do your best. Effective time management allows my best to come out. That's why I have so much respect for time!

Thanks for the link, and for this post - I'm the type too where I do all the preparation work, and then lose my fire when it comes to actually doing the work. Good to see confirmation that I'm not alone heh.

I am better at finishing work. When projects are introduced, ideas pour out and I am overwhelmed with possibilities. The problem is choosing which route to take. Once I get a feel for something I am able to roll with it and finally finish. I prefer working on one thing after another so that I have some sense of control. But time, as mentioned in the post 'How To Stop Fearing Time,' is something that I cannot control. So then it's a matter of prioritizing tasks in relation to deadlines.
